A good foundation is the key to lifelong development in yoga. In this 200 hour course trainees will learn all Foundation Level Yoga Postures, Breathing Exercises, Mantras, Mudras, Yogic Ethics and Philosophy, Essential Anatomy & Physiology, Develop an informed Personal Practice and Learn to teach a Foundation Level Yoga Class. This training meets the industry standards offering foundation level knowledge and training necessary to proceed with advanced teacher trainings for further development as a practitioner, teacher and yoga business owner in the 21st Century.
Trainees will walk out feeling confident of the knowledge required to experience safety in their personal practice as well as their ability to teach a beginner level class.
This course is a good fit for those who enjoy practicing physical yoga at least once or twice a week, wanting to gain deeper knowledge for personal transformation, to inform their personal practice on a deeper level and be able to safely teach a beginner level class to others. It is favorable to have practiced a minimum of 12 months under a qualified yoga teacher to apply for this course. Applicants are required to commit to 10 weeks of regular yoga practice, study the theoretical material, attend lectures and trainings and pass assessments to qualify for a certificate of competence to graduate from this course.
